RUNNERS-UP TO BMOC 2009

In the staff lounge today, over lunch, Lorraine, Beauty School's beloved librarian, and Prof. Chandni, head of Beauty School's Departments of Chemistry and Cosmetology, tabulated the votes for the title of BMOC 2009.

They really didn't have to tabulate, as the polling was completely live and 100% transparent. Lorraine wanted to spend her lunch time getting her eyebrows waxed, complaining that the votes counted themselves and everyone could see who won. But Prof. Chandni insisted on verifying the completely live, 100% transparent vote, saying, "You always need to verify the vote. I am still of the very strong opinion that Ernst & Young did not in fact verify the vote at Miss Universe 2006! Look at the outcome! That vote was not verified!"
