PANTALOONS FEMINA MISS INDIA 2011

Crowned tonight in a glittering ceremony is Kanishtha Dhankhar, 22, Pantaloons Femina Miss India World 2011. Hasleen Kaur, 22, is Pantaloons Femina Miss India Earth 2011, and Ankita Shorey, 24, is the new Pantaloons Femina Miss India International 2011. Rounding out the top five in the Pantaloons Feminia Miss India 2011 were Rakul Preet Singh and Ankita Mohapatra. Completing the top ten were Shweta Dolli, Purva Rana, Aprajita Sharma, Asmita Sood, and Dayana Erappa.

In Mumbai this weekend, a bevy of Indian beauty queens walked down the runway for the Mijwan Welfare Society 'Sonnets In Fabric' fashion show featuring creations by Manish Malhotra. The show included the famous hat-trick ladies - Miss World 2000 Priyanka Chopra, Miss Universe 2000 Lara Dutta, and Miss Asia Pacific 2000 Dia Mirza - as well as Miss India 2001 Celina Jaitley and Miss India 2002 Neha Dhupia.

TURNING 30 !!!

The new Miss Earth 2010 is India's Nicole Faria. She won the coveted title tonight during a glittering gala in Vietnam. First runner-up was Miss Ecuador Jennifer Pazmino. Second runner-up was Miss Thailand Watsoporn Wattanakoon. Third runner-up was Miss Puerto Rico Yeidy Bosques.

BSFW 2010 - DAY 3

Neha Kapoor, Miss India 2006 (and top 20 at Miss Universe 2006) has made quite a name for herself on the runways in Mumbai and New Delhi. She made quite a name for herself on the Beauty School campus during Day 3 of BSFW 2010. She even signed autographs at the chicken curry After Party in the cafeteria!
