We recently asked Lorraine, our beloved librarian, to check out the attic of the "Armi K" archival collection. She did so, but she was having a broken finger nail "moment." She was able to contact the Deans by using the princess phone near by. Her message went something like this: "Boys, my nails are ruined, but anything for Beauty School. I found this shoe box labeled 'Old Beauty Queens in White Dresses.' I haven't a clue who they are, please advise." Luv Ya, Lorraine. The Dean's immediatlely dispatched Madhu Sapre (fastest runner on campus) to collect the goods and then called an emergency meeting of the faculty. Collective wisdom is this is a picture from the 1961 Miss Universe/Miss USA pageant.
