She was beautiful and extremely talented and has left us at the age of 81. Her first big break was being selected the winner of the Miss U.S. Television beauty pageant in 1950. She was a Julliard trained singer who went on to do it all. How about a Tony Award for originating the role of Daisy Mae in the Broadway show "Li'l Abner." Television, movies, concerts, albums they all followed and of course her long reign as the spokesmodel for "Muriel Cigars." Edie, thanks for the memories.
