Things were getting out of hand in Miss Scribner's class. She was in the middle of a lecture about comportment and the proper way to wear bobby pins without them being seen when she realized most of the students in the class were busy text messaging and blackberring and using cell phones etc. Finding this behavior reprehensible, she was forced to give a "Pop Quiz" to the students, so they could remain at "Beauty School." Failing on a" Pop Quiz "could find a student delegated to the back row of the "Loser's Dance" or even worse - being awarded the title of "Miss Amity" out of pure pity. The "Pop Quiz" was to identify the woman in the photo above and to explain in 25 words or less her claim to fame. The answer will be revealed tomorrow.
