We are pleased to announc that "VictorG" was the first to come up with the correct response to yesterday's "Pop Quiz." Not only did he correctly identify the lady in the photo he also earned extra credit for knowing her credentials. She is indeed Miss USA 1957, Charlotte Sheffield of Utah, who assumed the title after Leona Gage, the original winner, was dethroned.
"VictorG" also pointed out that Charlotte went on to become a college professor, a published author and a member of the "Mormon Tabernacle Choir." For his scholarship, "VictorG" has been appointed to the staff of "Beauty School" as an adjunct member of the "Miss USA" deparment of studies and will also receive a free library card, which will be presented by our beloved librarian, Lorraine. His first runner-up was "Tennis Guy," who will not have to memorize the "Miss Universe Creed."
