This week, "America's Next Top Model" named their Cycle 10 winner and for the first time it's a young lady who is a plus size model, the lovely Whitney Thompson of Florida. "ANTM" what took you so long?
The beautiful people of Thailand have for years celebrated beauty in all sizes. They gave us two Miss Universes, Apasara and Porntip, and have seen to it that beauty comes in sizes. For many years they have held the "Miss Jumbo Queen" pageant, celebrating ladies who definitely qualify for the title of plus size. The purpose is to promote elephant conservation. Here is Miss Jumbo Queen 2005, Tarnrarin Chansawang, with her court.
