Recently, the daughters of the Miss Universe "Little Sisters" decided to tour the offices of "Beauty School's" administrators to see whose pictures they had on their walls. They were looking for inspirations for a calendar they planned to publish this year to raise money for the "Farewell Speech" foundation, which they hope to have reinstated at this year's Miss Universe Pageant. They found inspiration in Dean Di Maggio's office where they saw a prominently placed picture of Dominique DuFour, Miss Canada, 1981. She came into the top twelve in 1981 in 12th place and ended up finishing as first runner-up. Dean Di Maggio was in the audience that night and being half French Canadian himself has always had a special appreciation for this lady of beauty, grace and accomplishment. You can read more about her at the marvelous website of Jimmyspageantpage.com.
