Miss Martinique 2011 was elected last night during a glittering gala that included the presence of Veronique Caloc, Miss World 1998 first runner-up. The new Miss Martinique 2011 is Charlène Civault, who will compete for the Miss France 2012 title in December. Miss Martinique 2011 first runner-up was Angélique Angarni-Filopon, and Miss Martinique 2011 second runner-up was Maëva Marie-Louise.







The new Miss Tahiti 2011 is Rauata Temauri, 23 and 1m71. She was elected last nigth during a gala ceremony in Papeete, Tahiti. Runners-up were Emere Bopp du Pont and Hitiata Monnier. The first candidate for Miss France 2012 was elected last night. Tokahi Mathieu, 23 and 1m71, won over 11 other women to claim the Miss Nouvelle Caledonie 2011 title. Casting for Miss Tahiti 2011 has been underway and the contest is set for June 24. The winner will represent the French overseas department in Miss France 2011.
