

Miss Côte d’Ivoire, Murielle Nanié, won the 14th annual Miss CEDEAO pageant last night in Yamoussoukro, Cote d'Ivoire. Murielle's win marks the third time Côte d’Ivoire has captured the coveted Miss CEDEAO crown. First runner-up was Miss Nigeria, Unibia Uchechi; second runner-up was Miss Guinea, Fatoumata Hann.
Competing in this year's contest, along side the Murielle and her court of honor, were Miss Sierra Leone Kadiatou Kamara, Miss Gambia Caroline Stanley, Miss Niger Aïchatou Maï Moctar, Miss Aïssata Salou, Miss Mali Kalifa Traoré, Miss Benin Aïcha Essoué Bokpé, and Miss Sénégal Kéïta Toumou Mame.
