Nikkitasha Marwaha from Washington, DC was declared the winner of Miss India USA 2008, at a beauty pageant held in New Jersey on November 23. Girls from 23 states participated in the contest, which is currently in its 27th year. The pageant was organised by the India Festival Committee. Nikkitasha will represent the USA at the 18th annual Miss India Worldwide pageant to be held in South Africa
