HOMEWORK MYSTERY SOLVED

Last Friday, Miss Scribner gave an assignment to identify the "Universal Beauty" pictured above. Mystery solved, most astutely by honor roll student "Tennis Guy" who was the first to come up with the correct answer. It was indeed a picture of Miss Denmark Universe 1986, Helena Christensen, doing some "boxing" moves in Manhattan. As "Tennis Guy" remarked, he still can't figure out why she didn't make top ten. And we have to agree. However, it didn't hurt her career, she went on to become a supermodel in the 1990's (see photo below). Madge, our Cafeteria Supervisor, will be offering free Danish for the rest of this week.
