1967 was called the "Summer Of Love" at the height of the Hippie Movement. Old style fashion was out and color was in. Paisley, tie dye and flowers in the hair were all the rage. It also happens to be the year that Sylvia Hitchcock of the USA won the title of Miss Universe. Here is Sylvia in a very "of the moment" patterned dress, while somewhat tame by the days standards, also reflects the changes in fashion for a beauty queen. Sylvia must be feeling groovy.
