Ok, we realize this is not a picture of the Nile river, but instead the great pyramids at Giza, located right near the Nile river in Eqypt. It was brought to our attention that the only international beauty queen from Eqypt was the one and only Antigone Constanda, who was Miss World in 1954. We are pleased to share this rare photo of Antigone gracing the cover of the 1955 Miss World programme book looking like, indeed, the Queen of the Nile.
