Picture it, Long Beach, California, 1959. The Miss Universe crown and title crosses the Pacific Ocean to grace the first Asian beauty to win the title. Here we have Luz Marina Zuloaga, from Colombia, Miss Universe 1958 , passing on the sceptor to the new Miss Universe, Akiko Kojima of Japan. What a lovely coming together of two eternal beauties.
