A MOTHERS DAY TREAT

Sunday, May 11th, is Mothers Day in 62 countries around the world from Anguilla to Zimbabwe. We remembered a famous mother and daughter with a unique connection to the world of pageantdom, they both won the same title. In 1959, Marisa Jossa was selected as Miss Italia.

27 years later her daughter, Roberta Capua, would become Miss Italia and go on to become the first runner-up at Miss Universe 1987. Felice Giorno Della Madre!
