With the opening of the first revival of "South Pacific" on Broadway, we thought it would be appropriate to visit the "Land of Enchantment," on our Miss USA tour. Time to pay a visit to New Mexico, the home of Miss USA 1984, Mai Shanley. Mai was the first Eurasian winner of the title, with her mother hailing from Taiwan and her dad being of solid Irish stock. She was a semi-finalist at the Miss Universe pageant, and we're still enchanted.
