On Friday night, CBS won the whole ratings shebang. The ratings for Miss USA shows that pageants aren’t quite what they used to be; NBC came in third for the night in the network ratings, behind CBS and ABC, and ahead of FOX and CW. To its credit, the Miss USA telecast did significantly improve the critical 18-49 year old demographic performance for NBC over the network's 8:00 pm lead-in to the pageant, game show Amne$ia. Note that on CBS at 9:00 pm was game show "The Price is Right," hosted by Drew Carey and featuring models Brandi Sherwood (Miss USA 1997) and Tamiko Nash (Miss California USA 2006 and first runner-up to Miss USA 2006). No pride for the peacock on Friday night...
