MISS WORLD SEASON:1983

A new Miss World will be crowned next week. Thought we'd take a look at a former Miss World from 25 years ago. Sarah-Jane Hutt became the 4th Miss United Kingdom to win the title and boy were some of the contestants not happy about her victory. Many said in public she did not deserve the title and one contestant Miss Jamaica even boycotted the coronation ceremony. Whatever, she won. That's the story and we're sticking to it. Oh, we love the throne in this picture as pure Art-Deco splendor.
