Miss USA 1976, Barbara Peterson, was the first Miss USA to not make the semi-finals at Miss Universe since the pageant began in 1952. Here she is "getting booted up" but, alas to no avail. See Rina Messinger beside her? Thanks for being a good sport Barbara.
