Picture it, the 1968 Miss Universe contest. Photo op. Here are posed Miss Yugoslavia and Miss Brazil in their swimsuits. Martha from Brazil would go on to win the title and her hair looks fine. Miss Yugoslavia, however is either having a bad hair day or that style was radical for her country and in fashion. At that time, Yugoslavia was locked behind the Iron Curtain and it was rare to have a contestant from that part of Europe. We're glad she made it to the competition despite whatever was happening with her hair.
