To quote John Keats, " A thing of beauty is a joy forever, it's loveliness increases..." and what could be a more apt description of this photo of the very first Miss Universe, Armi Kuusela.
This photo was taken in the mid 1960's, about 15 years after her reign. Interestingly enough, many folks do not know that she did not complete her reign, but just stopped being Miss Universe ten months into her term. Last we heard, she was living in Southern California and was involved in many charities. Here's to you, Armi.
