STUDENT ACTIVITIES

Aside from the Sororities and Fraternities on campus, Beauty School has many clubs to keep our students engaged. Each club throws an annual party to celebrate the focus of their club. One of the most popular club events is the "Queens Of The 1950's" club. This year's theme party was life in a bomb shelter. Here we see the president and recording secretary of the club, preparing for the event in the basement of the Catalina Swimsuit Fashion Pavilion. As is tradition, they hold a door prize contest, and this year the winner will win a napkin from the now defunct Pan Am airlines, an official sponsor of the Miss Universe pageant in the 1950's.
