It's Easter break week here at Beauty School, so some of our students decided to travel to New York City to take in the sights and visit the Great White Way. They stopped by the Minskoff theatre, where Miss Universe 1981 was held and then visited the Broadway theatre were Miss USA 1973 took place. Then it was off to the legendary Palace theater to catch Miss America 1998, Kate Shindle performing in the Broadway smash musical "Legally Blonde."
Kate, a Broadway darling has previously appeared in "Jekyll & Hyde" and "Cabaret." Not only is she lighting up the stage, she is a major force in 'The World Aids' benefit held each year in New York City. Now that's a true Miss America.
