MISS GUADELOUPE 2011

Cindy Le Pape, 21, 1m73, and a volunteer firefighter, is the new Miss Guadeloupe 2011. She won the title last night at the Club Med de Sainte-Anne. Cindy will now compete for the title of Miss France 2012 in December in Brest. First runner-up, or as they say in French, the 1e dauphine, was Nancy Phémius, 18. Rounding out the top five were second runner-up Aude Bélénus, 19; Catharina Petit, 18, and Jessica Jacobin, 18. A total of 12 women competed for the coveted title.

This year's Miss Brazil pageant, as well as this year's Mister Brazil contest, provided ample evidence of the B in Prof. Chandni's ABC theory of the ultimate bikini (or speedo) body - A for Australia, B for Brazil, and C for Croatia. Miss Universe Brazil 2011 Priscila Machado and Mister Piaui 2011 Murilo Rezende join Jennifer Hawkins and Mario Valentic as bodies of evidence for the ABC theory.

MISS UNIVERSE HONDURAS 2011

The new Miss Universe Honduras 2011 is a knock-out! Miss Cortes Keylin Suzette Gómez Flores, 22, won the title last night at the Club Hondureno Arabe in San Pedro Sula. With the title in hand, she is now headed to Sao Paulo, Brasil, to compete in the Miss Universe 2011. First runner-up in the contest, and named Miss Earth Honduras 2011, was Miss Islas de Bahia. Second runner-up was Miss Copan, Hazel Aguilar.

MISS BRAZIL 2011

The new Miss Brazil 2011 is Miss Rio Grande do Sul Priscila Machado, 25. She won the coveted title just minutes ago in a glittering televised gala. She will now be the "hometown girl," Brazil's official beauty delegate to Miss Universe 2011. First runner-up in the pageant was Miss Bahia Gabriela Rocha, second runner-up was Miss Acre Daniela Kniedel, third runner-up was Miss Sao Paulo Rafaela Butarelli, and fourth runner-up was Dean Harris' fave, Miss Amazonas Tami Cavalcanti. Also, Dean Harris thought Miss Acre had the best state costume, a tribute to the great environmentalist Chico Mendes.

The new Miss and Mr England 2011 were elected last night. Miss Everymodel Alize Lily Mounter, 22, won the title of Miss England 2011. Mr Modelzed Roland Johnson, 19 and a long-time friend of Alize's, is the new Mr England. More info on the contest at the Daily Mail web site.

MISS MARTINIQUE 2011

Miss Martinique 2011 was elected last night during a glittering gala that included the presence of Veronique Caloc, Miss World 1998 first runner-up. The new Miss Martinique 2011 is Charlène Civault, who will compete for the Miss France 2012 title in December. Miss Martinique 2011 first runner-up was Angélique Angarni-Filopon, and Miss Martinique 2011 second runner-up was Maëva Marie-Louise.

MISTER HONG KONG 2011

The new Mister Hong Kong 2011 is Clayton Li, 24. He won the title tonight. Dean Harris thinks Clayton has the whole package and can see how he won!

SENORITA BOGOTA 2011

First runner-up was Adi Jaya, and second runner-up was Aditya Mohammad. Several special awards were handed out, including Best Catwalk, which was won by Gillian Pangalila, and Best Body, won by Muhammad Ozy.
